Growing label and tag manufacturer is seeking a hard working intelligent team member who can follow directives to lead and coordinate the production of labels to achieve the ultimate goals of our growing company. Must have the ability and desire to achieve production goals while maintaining accuracy along with excellent quality standards. Responsibilities and Expectations: Accomplishes results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. Initiates, monitors and takes part in the production flow. Allocates materials, inks, paper stock, tooling die, etc. according to the job instructions. Understanding ERP systems and Microsoft Office products; strong computer skills. Strong organizational and communication skills. Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines. Good people skills and flexibility for handling a wide range of activities. Using logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems. Maintains quality by establishing and enforcing standards. Demonstrate personal time management skills. Must be able to work in a team environment. Ability to read, understand and carry out written instructions. Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions. Standing 100% of the entire shift with frequent bending. Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, 35 lbs frequently. Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet expectations. Analyze and prepare jobs needed for production. Data analysis and decision making to support raw material supply and finished goods demand. Creates production schedule and prioritizes job-orders for production optimization. Maintains the production schedule and other reports as required. Follow-up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation. Ensures operation of equipment by supervising and performing scheduled maintenance and calling for repairs. Complete status reports for production progress, work in process, and raw material inventory. Interacts with shop floor constantly to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies or quality concerns. May be asked to perform other duties at a lower level or higher level of proficiency.
